Unique History

Part of Stone Row, our building was constructed in 1820 by slave labor, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally, a drive access existed between the buildings, but was closed in around the time of the Civil War. Our location operated as a tailor shop by John Lilley, who also served as St. Charles Postmaster and operated the post office out of the building from July 14, 1826 until April 4, 1836.
