The first Saturday of every month, we’ve been introducing a beautiful new yarn and exciting pattern.  Many of the yarns and patterns have been designed just for our club!  May has 1 more opening, so reserve your spot quickly!

“Learn With Lucy” DVD Series
Saturday, August 14th, 7-9pm, $10, Knitting Essentials #2

A new series we are starting with the famous Lucy Neatby DVDs. Coming up is Knitting Essentials #2. This first DVD covers three different bind offs, seven cast on techniques, tips for knitting with circular needles, and lots of finishing techniques! Just bring your yarn or notebook and pen, and we will supply the popcorn, from the Popcorn Shoppe on Main St.        

Odessa Beaded Hat

Color Crochet Hat and Mittens
Wednesday, September 8, 15, 6:00 – 8:00 pm         

In this class for advanced beginner or intermediate crocheters, we will learn the magic of color crochet, carrying two yarns at a time as we make a matching set of hat and mittens.  Class price includes pattern and color chart.  $35

You have found your addiction.  Learn the basics of knitting, fix mistakes, and complete your first project in this 6-week class. $60 includes your book and 10% off materials for first project.     

Beginning Crochet

Looking for a new craft? Do you have crochet hooks that you haven’t used in years? Join our beginning crochet class and learn, or re-learn, all the basic stitches and how to follow a pattern while making a scarf or a doll afghan. Price includes patterns and stitch guides.  $45    

Joy of Socks  
Sundays, September 12, 19, 26, 3:00 – 5:00 pm, 3 sessions    

You want the secrets to great socks, and we have the answers.  Come and learn what everyone is talking about!  Hand knit socks can be the most comfortable socks you will ever wear, and make a great gift for you or someone else.  We will meet for three sessions and work through your first sock.  $45 includes pattern plus 10% off of class materials.    

Cable Crochet Scarf   
Wednesday, September 29th, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm OR 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm OR

Using a chunky yarn and double crochet stitches, we will learn crochet cables and bobbles to make a fabulous scarf that will be the envy of all your friends. Price includes pattern.  $20    

EZABCSJKAL  Free!  

No that wasn’t a typo! It stands for the Elizabeth Zimmerman Adult, Baby, Child Surprise Jacket Knit-a-long.  Starting on October 3rd you are welcome to join us anytime on Sundays between 3-5pm to learn the magic of EZ’s surprise jacket. The KAL will run through November 21st and will be a fun time for us all to try it for the first time, or to cast on for another.

Crochet Pillow Talk  
Wednesday, November 3 & 10, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm    

If you took the beginning crochet class and are ready to learn some new stitch patterns, this is the class for you. We will combine 5 different block patterns with crochet seams to make a fun decorator pillow. This class is a great way to learn new stitches without making a huge commitment. Price includes patterns and charts. $35
